Verbs with L-classifier

Basics

Verbs with L-classifier are very similar to verbs with ł-classifier. The same phonological rules apply:

  1. In the first person singular, the Fricative Deletion Rule applies. Thus, no sh marks the first person singular.
  2. In the second person singylar, the N~i-Rule applies.
  3. In the second person plural, the Fricative Deletion Rule also applies. Thus, no h marks the second person plural.

Here are the forms of the subject prefixes:


1st Sg. e(sh)- l-
2nd Sg. i- l-
3rd Sg. Ø- l-
1st Pl. ch'-l-*
2nd Pl. e(h)-l-
3rd Pl. q- l-*
